Impression of a coconut planatation in Coronie in Suriname. SHOTS: - a man climbs a large palm tree with a special climbing technique; he picks coconuts and throws them down; there they're chopped into pieces with machetes and the shell is seperated from the meat; coconut oil is made from the flesh, the waste is for pigs; - in a small factory a part of the flesh is made into copra by drying it.
