Visual report of the opening of the hospital ship "Wilhelmina", moored at the Omval in the Amstel. The ship is the former gunboat "De Brak" which was converted to a rehabilitation place. Skipper and wife pose on deck 14"; Men (among them dr. de Jong, director (?) of the hospital ship) near a poster on deck; invited men and women wait on the quay; Arrival of patients by ambulance, they are carried aboard on stretchers via the gangway by male and female nurses 48"; Invited guests during several opening speeches in the ship (by a.o. D.Kropveld of the Parkherstellingsoorden); Int. "Wilhelmina" with beds. Shots of the naval officers Colonel Greve and Vastenou (rear admiral): + guests and involved people tour the ship (among them certainly dr. J.H.J. de Vos, alderman, dr.
