Removal of the Royal Dutch Indian Army (KNIL): Dissolution ceremony at Djakarta in the official residence of the Dutch High Commissioner, dr. H. Hirschfeld on 26 July. Also a wreath laying ceremony (on 25 July) at the honorary military cemetery Menteng Pulo. SHOTS: 00:02 DISSOLUTION CEREMONY: present are a.o. the Indonesian prime minister Mohammad Hatta and other prominent Indonesian politicians, a delegation of the KNIL, and high civil and military authorities. Speech by the commander of the Dutch Armed Forces in Indonesia, general D.C. Buurman van Vreeden (in Dutch and Indonesian), and Hirschfeld.
