The "flagship" of the American Overseas Airlines, the Boeing "Stratocruiser", a very large aircraft, visits Schiphol Airport. With a number of Dutch invited guests the airplane flies above the Netherlands. SHOTS: - Airplane stands on the apron; a lot of spectators behind a fence at some distance; - shots of the airplane: a.o. engines, wingspan, nose, nosewheel, passengers cabin on the upper deck, baron the lower deck, instruments panel in the cockpit; - invited guests board the airplane, a.o. the mayor of Amsterdam, A.J. d'Ailly, and the Minister of Transport, Public Works and Water Managment, D.G.W. Spitzen; -airplane taxis, takes off and lands; - shots during the flight: passengers in the cabin; view from the windows on the wing during take-off; aerial shots of a port and other large city; pilots in the cockpit.
