Writer Jaap ter Haar has won the Gouden Griffel (Golden Pen) with the children's book 'Het wereldje van Beer Ligthart' (The small world of Bear Lighthart). Writer Thea Beckman received this award for her youth book 'Kruistocht in spijkerbroek' (Crusade in jeans). The Gouden Penseel (Golden Brush) goes to writer and illustrator Wim Hofman for his book 'Koning Wikkepokluk de merkwaardige zoekt een rijk' (King Wikkepokluk the remarkable seeks a kingdom).
