Footage of a very large fire with total blackout as a result of the clouds of smoke. The fire takes place at the NEPDAM, the Nederlandse Petroleum- en Asphalt Maatschappij (Netherlands Petroleum and Asphalt Company). The fire and the extinguishing take three days. Several overall shots of the burning factory terrain on the waterside with very heavy smoke production 57". Medium shot of men savign barrels and other things from the factory terrain, thick smoke all around 27". Several shots of fire, smoke, blackout 49".
