SHOTS: - large empty hole in the street where the old exchange used to be; - ext. bunker with extra storeys; - int. manually operated exchange at work: ext. equipment with a.o. cables and a row of busy operators behind switchboards; int. manually operated exchange out of order: everything is motionless and abandoned: empty chairs and empty switchboards; - int. automatic exchange with close ups of equipment.
