The hottest summer in years. During the holiday the youth in Amsterdam swims in the swimming pools, in the water of the Amsterdamse Bos, near the Prins Hedrikkade and in fountains. The children in the Jordaan are being sprayed with a garden hose. Social cultural organisations are also holding a hut building contest in the Jordaan.
