Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Many toads are run over during the annual toad migration. In Overveen they try to prevent this. On the migration route netting has been placed and buckets have been put in holes in the ground to catch the toads. Then they are released at the other side of the road. SHOTS: close up of a common toad (Bufo Bufo); toads in the bushes and near a road; run over toads; toads fall into the dug in buckets near the fence; forester and biologist examine the toads, a.o. the weighing of the toads; forester and biologist release the toads again; toads and tadpole in a pond.
