The new building of the Rubberstichting (Rubber Foundation) in Amsterdam is officially put into use by the deputy High Commissioner of Indonesia, mr. Djumhana. In this building scientific research on the uses of rubber and rubber derivatives is done. SHOTS: - Ext. of the building; - int.: in a room with audience Djumhana delivers a speech and presses a button which starts a machine measuring the tensile strength of a rubber thread; - Djumhana and company tour the institution, look at the installations and machines and watch a.o. how rubber hoses are made and a bowl of liquid foam rubber being emptied in a mold; - some rubber products are shown
