Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
The production of smoked sausages for the Dutch army in a meat factory in the Hague. SHOTS: - large pieces of bacon are thrown onto a pile; grote lappen spek worden op stapel gegooid; - butcher are boning meat; - cold store, where pieces of meat hang; - butchers cut the skin off of the bacon; slagers snijden huid van spek; - meat is thrown together in bins; mixing bowl with grinded meat; - grineded meat is put into another bin, is mixed again and is put back; - two men fill empty bowels with the meat mixture near the sausage machine; - the ends of the sausages are tied together; - sticks with sausages are transported from a cart to the smoking chamber; - man opens the doors of the smoking chamber and other man exits with a stick with smoked sausages; - sausages are put into boiling water.
