Festive inauguration of a high railway with underlying tunnels in Eindhoven. The daily traffic obstructions because of the first floor Woenselse railway crossing are over. An allegorical procession passes through the town and there is a bonfire. A special train with guests drives over the high rail into the new station which is still under construction. Persons present are CEO Philips, Frits Philips ir; Mayor H.A.M.T. Kolfschoten, Dutch Railway Director ir F.Q. den Hollander. Archival material: traffic obstruction at the Woenselse railway crossing.
