The strong wind causes problems for the Swedish timber ship "Ketty" off the coast of IJmuiden. Tugs manage to bring the heeling ship into the harbour just in time, but there it still has to be run aground. An attempt will be made to salvage the ship; for this purpose the cargo is unloaded.  SHOTS: - rough waves at the sea near and between the jetties of IJmuiden; - several shots of the "Ketty": stern is under water; prow is partially above water; the aft mast is broken; on deck is a big chaos of planks and ship equipment; - an inland navigation vessel lies alongside the "Ketty"; workers remove the cargo - sawn wooden planks - from the sloping deck of the timber ship and load these into the hold of the inland navigation vessel.
